savage model 99 for photoshoot in Austin, Texas
« on: April 19, 2017, 03:02:57 PM »
My name is Nick and I work for a photographer located in Austin, Texas. We shoot for a national hunting magazine and are doing a huge spread with 14 rifles. Most of the long guns we get directly from the manufacturer, but we are in need of a Savage model 99 with a rotary magazine. We can pay $200 just to borrow the rifle for a day. Owner can stick around or drop it off.

Anyone has one or knows anyone please shoot me an email Nick@voorhes .com.

thanks for your time.

So we don't have an exact date as we are still getting other rifles in for the shoot. But we are looking at around May 12 or 15th. Do you own one or know someone who does? Just want to make sure it is the Rotary magazine. I have realized they are common but not so easy to find. Any help will do.

Not yet - have to wait for the magazine to hit the streets before he can release pics to me.  Here I'd managed to stick this WELL into the back of my mind, and now you have me anticipating it again.....I hope your dog chews the stock on yer favorite rifle!! 8)
